Customs formalities:
The licensing system, for both import and export, is
quite complicated owing to the monopoly held by certain companies.
Customs clearance procedures are quite long owing to the number
of validations required from various ministries. If you require
any information, please do not hesitate to contact one of our
offices.
Currency :
The Laotian currency is the Kip. It is not convertible.
The US dollar and Thai baht are sometimes used for certain transactions.

Language:
The official language spoken is Laotian, but if you speak
French, Vietnamese, Chinese or English, you will be able to make
yourself understood.
